Body Found in Newport Harbor Matches Missing Teen's Description
A body was found in Newport Harbor that matches the description of missing teen Teddy Oliviera.
A body was recovered near the East tower of the Pell Bridge Monday morning at approximately 11:43 a.m., Newport Police announced in a release this afternoon.

Passing boaters spotted the body, who then reported it to the Harbor Master. Newport Police Detectives, Rhode Island State Police and the Newport Harbor Master responded and retrieved the body.
Rhode Island State Police had resumed a search for the missing teenager on Sunday after the Coast Guard had suspended it last Friday.

The Medical Examiner's office will be conducting an autopsy. The incident is currently under investigation by Newport Police Criminal Investigation Division.
There has been no official update as to how or why Oliviera went missing as of Monday afternoon, police officials said.
