The following actions were taken in Second District and Superior Court on Wednesday, Nov. 17. The following information was provided solely based on court records.

  • [Name Removed], 53, of Newport had his case dismissed on Wednesday. He was arrested on Oct. 10 in Newport on assault and battery charges, to which he pleaded not guilty.
  • Nikole Amaral, 18, of 20 Chapel Terr., Newport was ordered to pay court costs of $218.50 and attend anger management classes. Amaral was arrested in Newport on Oct. 26 for assault and battery charges. A no contest plea was filed on Wednesday.
  • Jacob Samuelian, 18, of 684 Washington St., Coventry, was ordered to pay $93.50 in court costs. Samuelian was arrested on Oct. 16 in Newport for violating a no contact order. He pleaded no contest to the charge.
  • Sean Pine, 24, of 40 Jean St., Middletown, pleaded no contest to charges of defacing property. Pine was arrested on Oct. 23 in Newport for vandalizing Empire Tea and Coffee. He was received probation for one year and court costs of $93.50.
  • Amanda Sullivan, 30, of John Chaffee Blvd., Newport, had her case dismissed on Thursday. She was arrested in Newport on Nov. 13 on charges of violating a no contact order. She pleaded not guilty.
  • Anna Kartseva, 22, of 10 Hammond St., Newport, had her cased dismissed on Thursday. She was arrested in Newport on Nov. 10 on charges of shoplifting $29.88 worth of goods from Stop & Shop. She pleaded not guilty.
  • Michael Reynolds, 23, of 31 Seascape Ave., Middletown, was ordered to pay $218.50 in court costs on Thursday. He was arrested on Nov. 16 in Middletown on charges of maliciously damaging property and assault. He pleaded no contest to the charges and received a no contact order.
  • William Doncaster, 66, of 5 Canonicus Ave., Newport, had his case dismissed on Thursday. He was arrested in Newport on Nov. 6 on an indecent exposure charge.
  • Steven Antrasian, 49, of 6 Bent Ave., Wayland, MA, had his case dismissed on Thursday. He was arrested in Newport on Oct. 22 on a charge of trespassing at the Marriott hotel.
  • Rayon Barronette, 30, of 107 Rogers Lane, Middletown, was ordered to pay court costs of $467. Barronette was arrested on Nov. 7 for driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He pleaded no contest to the charge.
