HEALTH Recommends Closure of Third Beach

Officials recommend the closure of Third Beach to swimming

The Department of Health (HEALTH) recommends the closing of Third Beach in Middletown to swimming due to high bacteria counts. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the areas are safe for swimming. Water quality analysis is conducted by the HEALTH laboratory or a state certified laboratory.
