Man Allegedly Throws Woman on Bed

The following arrests were reported by the Middletown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

A Middletown man was arrested on Tuesday at 5:52 p.m. after allegedly becoming involved in an argument with a 26-year-old Coventry woman.

Colin Gregoire, age unknown, of 182 Newport Ave., apparently became involved in an argument with the woman at his home. During the argument, Gregoire allegedly threw the woman on the bed, held her down and refused to let her leave, according to police reports.

The victim apparently got free and attempted to call 911. Gregoire allegedly grabbed her phone and threw it down. She eventually was able to leave the apartment, run a neighbor's house and call police.
