Police arrested made the following DUI arrests this week:
Man Allegedly Urinates on Himself
Andrew Urban, 30, of
138 Sandringham Ave., Providence, was arrested Sunday around 1:51 a.m.
on charges of driving under the influence. He was also cited with
refusal to submit to a chemical test, driving with a suspended license
and six other traffic violations. Police said Urban was pulled over for
speeding 20 mph over the limit on West Main Road and was quickly
passing other cars. He allegedly told police his registration was on
the rear of the vehicle. Police explained they did not need his plates.
Urban had reportedly urinated on himself before he was pulled over. He
failed the field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
Second Offense DUI
Marques, 46, of 188 Greene Lane, Middletown was arrested on Monday,
Aug. 19 around 9:07 p.m. on a second offense driving under the influence
charge. He was also cited with refusal to submit to a chemical test,
driving with a suspended license, operating an unregistered vehicle,
operating a vehicle without evidence of insurance, not having a license
on him and for contents of registration plate.
Marques was on Forest Avenue struggling to pick up his motorcycle which
had tipped over. Police said he appeared very drunk and said he had
“too many” drinks.
