Middletown Arrests: DUI, Weapons

The following arrests were reported by the Middletown Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Stephen Gaspar, 30, of 2060 Rodman St., Fall River was arrested on Tuesday, July 17, around 2:10 a.m. on charges of Driving under the influence. Police stopped his BMW on West Main Road for traveling 54 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Gaspar said he was coming from Rhino Bar in Newport and had a few beers.  He failed the field sobriety tests and was taken into custody without incident.

Andrew Serbst, 18, of 5 Barbara Dr., Bristol, was arrested on Tuesday, July 1, around 1:06 a.m. on a misdemeanor Weapons other than firearms prohibited charge. Police pulled over a car that Serbst was a passenger after police said they saw a sticker in the rear windshield that potentially obstructed the view of the operator.
