Middletown PD: DUI, Assaults, Cyberstalking

The following arrests were reported by the Middletown Police Department.

  • Willie Colon, 22, of 455 Dwelly St. Apt #2, Fall River, MA was arrested on Monday, July 8, on a bench warrant charge. Police said they found him sleeping in the back of a jeep at the beach.
     
  • Jerry Warnick, 49, of no permanent address, was arrested Saturday, July 6, around 1:01 a.m. after police responded to a report of a hit and run at Brewski’s. Police found him asleep at the wheel of a red pickup truck parked in his mother's driveway. He was allegedly extremely drunk, yelled at the officers and lit a cigarette. As police tried to arrest him, he allegedly grasped onto the truck to avoid being placed in handcuffs. The officer kicked Warnick in the stomach with his knee to free his hand, according to the police report. His girlfriend told police Warnick drove her truck without permission and was not allowed at the house. He was charged with a felony domestic violation of a no contact order, disorderly conduct and resisting legal arrest.

  • Andrew Garcia, 20, of 15 Meeting Street, was arrested on Friday, July 5 around 1:10 a.m. after he allegedly stole wine from the Clambake Club. He was charged with larceny. 

  • Althieus Frederick, 44, of 336 Metacom Ave. Apt. #2, Bristol, was arrested on Friday, July 5 around 1:35 a.m. on a driving under the influence charge. 

  • Edmilson Pereira, 32, of 169 Aquidneck Ave. Apt #2, was arrested on Thursday, July 4, around 7:45 on a domestic assault charge.  He allegedly got into a physical fight about money. 

  • Stefon Jenkins, 22, of 18 John Chafee Blvd., was arrested Thursday, July 4, around 1:55 a.m. on a disorderly conduct charge. He was allegedly fighting in front of Brewski’s. 

  • Raymond Mahoney, 30, of 24 Channing St., Newport, was arrested on Thursday, July 4 around 9:57 p.m. on charges of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. He was also cited with refusal to submit to a chemical test. He was allegedly driving a three wheel motorcycle that was an overdue rental from downtown Newport.

  • Ronald Bachelder, 23, of 33 Plain St., Fall River, MA, was arrested on Thursday, July 4 around 11:45 p.m. on violation of a no contact order and simple assault.  He reportedly called AAA for a lockout, but then asked the driver to tow the car back to Fall River. When the driver said that would not be possible, Bachelder allegedly spit in his face.  Police said there was a protective order against another man with Bachelder 

  • Mark Gonsalves, 41, of 20 Bloom Ct., was arrested on Wednesday, July 3 around 6:45 a.m. on charges of making crank phone calls, cyberstalking and possession of drugs.
