Middletown Police: DUIs, Warrants and Theft

Corey L. Medeiros, 34, of 24 Taylor Ave., Riverside, was arrested on Saturday, May 18 and charged with driving under the influence, first offense, blood-alcohol content .15 or greater.
Police stopped Medeiros on West Main Road for speeding and failing to maintain proper control of his truck on the roadway. Police reported a strong smell of alcohol emanating from within the car and Medeiros' person.
Medeiros allegedly failed a field sobriety test and registered a .204 on the breath analyzer test.

Thomas P. Penler, Jr., 22, of 242 High St., Rochester, MA, was arrested on Thursday, May 16 at 4:28 a.m. and charged with six counts of receiving stolen goods. Penlar was wanted by Middletown Police in connection with a string of robberies.
Bristol Man Arrested on Warrant
Jason Michael Galuppo, 26, of 42 Opechee Drive, Bristol, was arrested on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:44 p.m. and on a bench warrant from Sixth Division District Court. He will be arraigned making it.
