MPD Make 2 DUI Arrests Over The Weekend

The following incidents were reported by the Middletown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Middletown police reported two DUI arrests over the weekend:

  • Aimee Palinkas, 40, of 102 Fairview St., Waterbury, CT, was arrested Saturday around 2:48 a.m. on a driving under the influence charge. She was also cited for refusal to submit to a chemical test. Police pulled her over because a brake light was out.  She allegedly told police she had three drinks over four hours. 

  • Trever Woodward, 24, of 403 Fairway Dr., was arrested Saturday around 11:51 p.m. on charges of driving under the influence.  Police said Woodward was pulled over because he was driving slowly and then speeding up. He allegedly told police he had several drinks downtown Newport. Police said he agreed to a Breathalyzer and registered a .066.  Police said due to his behavior, they believed he was under the influence of drugs. Woodward agreed to submit to a blood test at Newport Hospital.
