MPD Make Ten Arrests Over Thanksgiving Weekend

The following arrests were reported by the Middletown Police Department

 

  • Latoya Johnson, 24, of 71 Barker Ave., Warren was arrested on Friday around 9:30 p.m. on an active bench warrant charge.

  • Jennifer Sequira, 34, of 118 Busher Dr., was arrested on Friday around 1:30 a.m. after police responded to her residence for a domestic disturbance in progress.  Sequira had found out her husband had a baby with a former partner, said police.

    She allegedly tipped over his wooden bookcase from against the wall which fell on top of him. He attempted to dial 911 on his cell phone and she began slapping and hitting him in the face and the back of his neck, said police.

    He went outside and dialed 911.  She was charged with domestic assault, domestic vandalism, and domestic refusal of telephone. 

  • Geralyn Levesque, 58, of 9 Admiralty Dr., was arrested on Friday around 8:12 a.m. on domestic assault charges after she allegedly got into a physical altercation with her son.
  • Michael O’Bryan, 46, of 411 Corey Lane Apt. #B was arrested on a driving under the influence charge on Saturday, around 1:41 a.m. He was also cited for refusal to submit to a chemical test.

  • Jeffrey Hole, 25, of 29 Stanton Dr., Portsmouth, was arrested on Saturday around 2:48 a.m.  He was charged with driving under the influence and for possession of marijuana. 

  • David McCarthy, 45, of 838 Wapping Apt. #313, Portsmouth, was arrested on Saturday around 10:35 p.m. after he allegedly was involved in a hit and run accident.  The victim said she was driving south on West Main Road when her driver side mirror and front tire/panel were struck by the suspect vehicle.

    She called police with a description and the license plate of the suspect vehicle.  Police responded to McCarthy’s residence and he was charged with duty to stop at an accident.  

  • Joseph Hussey, 26, of 8 Maple Ter. was arrested on Saturday around 1:10 on charges of disorderly conduct after he allegedly tried to start a fight with another customer at Applebee's.  The customer asked Hussey about his food and Hussey allegedly called him a “fag” and asked him to fight outside.

  • A 17 year-old Middletown teenager was arrested on Sunday  for making harassing and threatening phone calls to another 17 year-old.

  • Soulaiman Hafez, 21, was arrested on Monday around 1:30 a.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license.

  • Edward Fougere, 27, of 1535 Wapping Rd. was arrested on Monday at 1:48 a.m. for disorderly conduct after he became belligerent with a taxi driver and police who came to assist.
