What's going on in Newport? We are doing Google and Bing searches for tourism info on Newport, and about half the links are to the violent crime articles. Where is the Newport of a couple years ago?

Brenda all of your comments are about this subject. We have less violent crime than most places. Also a vast majority of it takes place in areas tourists never go. come here and enjoy or dont, we have plenty of tourists. Seems like more every year.
