Thanks to the impending snow storm, there will be a parking ban in effect beginning 5 p.m. Tuesday and it will remain until further notice.
Additionally, People's Credit Union will have a delayed opening tomorrow and won't open until 10 a.m.
Town officials said vehicles parked on the street are subject to towing.
"The Middletown Public Works Department reminds residents not to deposit snow into any state or town road because it contributes to hazardous driving conditions," a notice posted on the town's Web site states. "As a reminder, business and home owners are responsible for clearing the sidewalks in front of their property. This will help keep pedestrians out of the road."
More closings and cancellations will be posted as the storm approaches.
