Parking Ban Issued in Preparation of Snowstorm
Middletown police have issued a parking ban beginning Tuesday at noon.
In preparation of the incoming storm, Middletown police have issued a parking ban, beginning Tuesday at noon and ending Wednesday at 8 p.m.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch for Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. The so-called “jackpot” area is expected to span from the Tiverton-Little Compton area through Cape Cod, but heavy snow with accumulations of 4-8 inches are possible throughout much of the state, especially along the south coast and islands. Some weather maps predict as much as 10 inches in some areas.
