Man Allegedly Threatened CVS Employee for Prescription Medicine

Christopher Grieco of Cranston was arrested on Monday at 3:16 a.m. on charges of disorderly conduct at CVS pharmacy on East Main Road. The 39-year-old man was allegedly threatening the pharmacist for prescription medication.   

Police reported they had dealt with Grieco numerous times throughout the night. At around 1:30 a.m., he allegedly tried to get a free night at the Holiday Inn Express because he said he was homeless and had nowhere to sleep or money for a cab. Police advised Grieco about the shelter on Meeting Street in Newport.  

At around 3:38 a.m., police were called the the Shell Station on East Main Road because Grieco had allegedly threatened the store employee that he could “just knock him out” to take free food and items. The employee told police he had previously given him a half a pack of cigarettes to make him go away.

The pharmacy reported that Grieco approached the counter at 3 a.m. and asked for Suboxone medication. When the pharmacist told Grieco to call his doctor for a prescription, he allegedly stated that he would use force to get his pain medication.  

The CVS employee told police that was the first time she felt threatened in the five years she had been with the company. 

New York Man Arrested for Allegedly Shoplifting Video Games

Victor Stazzone, 26, of Queens, N.Y., was arrested on Tuesday around 7:09 p.m. on charges of shoplifting five video games from Best Buy. 

Police reported they spotted Stazzone by the People's Credit Union, who they were able to identify from the caller's description.

According to police reports, Stazzone handed officers another man's identification. After police questioned him about the ID, Stozzone allegedly admitted the ID belonged to a friend. Stazzone reportedly told police he had taken the Wii games for his niece, and realized it was a stupid thing to do.

Police said they found five games on the side of the Hess gas station, after a witness told police Stazzone had placed them on the ground.

The store’s security camera confirmed Stazzone placed the games under his waistband and exited the store.

Man Allegedly Tells Police to Arrest Him

Vincent Bianca, of 31 West Main Road was arrested on Monday at about 10:45 p.m. on charges of disorderly conduct.  

Police were called to the Rodeway Inn when a guest complained that Bianca, 54, swore at him. When police told Bianca he had to leave the hotel, he reportedly said that he had nowhere else to go, cursed at the officers and told them to arrest him.

Police arrested Bianca without incident.
