Joe, it is a great idea to put ankle bracelett on those that are high risk, but the cost to have 24 hr. survellience is high to taxpayers. I have read over the years many articles and viewed many hours of interviewing S.O.'s and many say Public Notice is the best practice for keeping them straight. I have mixed feelings on spending so much money on them....my ideas are said to be radical, that I can live with. Here is a great article that talks more about monitoring in a comprehensive manner.

Yes Suzanne, I read several articles regarding the high cost of ankle monitors, but with all the frivolous spending we do on other things, the daily advances in technology associated with gps monitoring, and the considerable cost of prosecuting these animals after they re-commit their sexual offenses, not to mention the anguish caused to their victims, I would be one person willing to bear the cost.

Suzanna, In my opinon our police, legiislators, governor, are affaid of gettng sued by the ACLU and other civil right groups so they shut their mouths, fly under the radar, get their 30 years in and get out.If you want to start a blog of a 1,000 names to send these sex offenders back to Cuba,my error,to Guantanamo Bay I'll sign.
