The incident occurred Tuesday around 5:30 pm near Aquidneck and Briarwood avenues.

Local police report they arrested 19-year old Nathan B. Williams, 19, of Middletown, on a 1st offense misdemeanor marijuana possession charge after allegedly finding marijuana in his car following a traffic stop. He was also charged with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.

The arrest reportedly occurred Tuesday night around 5:37 pm on Briarwood Avenue near Aquidneck Avenue, after police pulled over Williams' 1999 black Jeep Cherokee on suspicion of driving on a revoked license.
