Truck Overturns at Enterprise Center Construction Site

A flatbed truck filled with steel beams overturned at a construction site at Enterprise Center in Middletown Wednesday morning.

No injuries were reported.

The accident occurred just before 9 a.m. when the truck was entering the site where a expansion project is underway, located within Enterprise Center off East Main Road behind Middletown Town Hall.

According to officials on scene, the accident occurred when one of the truck tires hit the corner of a ditch, causing the rear end of the flatbed truck to slip and turn the truck onto its side.

A tow company used heavy machinery and winches to upright the truck again around 11 a.m. and workers were continuing to remove the cargo of steel beams from the truck flat bed and from the ditch.
