Nearly a year after the closure of its 73 Valley Road location, the Rhode Island Department of Motor Vehicles is cutting the ribbon today on a new permanent branch in Middletown, located at 52 Valley Road.
The new office is located just near the intersection with East Main Road. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The DMV closed its temporary W. Main Road location on Monday to facilitate the move.

The new DMV branch is located in the shopping plaza at the corner of East Main and Valley roads, and is in the space currently occupied by .
