Monday: Town Hall Open House

A look at what's happening in and around Middletown today.

  1. The Middletown Town Hall will hold an from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight for residents who are interested in sharing their ideas with the town administration and officials about the upcoming fiscal year. Representatives from public safety, public works, general municipal services, community services and building inspections/planning.
  2. Michaels will be holding a scrapbooking class from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight. The cost is $25 plus the cost of supplies.
  3. Head over to the for $12.95 lobster specials including a lobster roll, bake stuffed lobster and boiled lobster Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  4. Dr. Daniel Cowdin, associate professor of religious and theological studies at Salve Regina University, will present "Approaching a Distant Beauty: The Jewish Talmud Through Christian Eyes" at the McKillop Library at 4 p.m. today.
  5. The will host an today from 10 a.m. to noon. Anyone over the age of 18 who meets the requirements is welcome to attend. The two-hour session is mandatory before entering the hospitality training program.
