National Weather Service Warns of Possible Flooding

The National Weather Service has issued an advisory for the area.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a "hazardous weather outlook" for Aquidneck Island, along with southeastern Massachusetts and all of Rhode Island, to warn of the potential for flooding due to continued rainfall.

The advisory warns that some minor urban flooding, pooling and small stream flooding could occur on Monday.

The NWS forecast for Middletown on Monday called for rain, fog and possible thunder storms to continue through Tuesday night before clearing on Wednesday with temperatures in the high 70s and sunny skies.
