Severe Weather Alert: Hail and Lightning in Middletown's Forecast

Here's how experts are calling the highly unpredictable weather forecast for the rest of the day, Wednesday June 1.

That very loud deluge heard Wednesday morning likely included a mix of rain and hail, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Hail was seen falling just off West Main Road around 9:30 a.m. More was forecast to fall after 4 p.m., along with a mix of showers, thunderstorms and even some lightning.

Dense fog is also predicted to return before noon.

Despite all that gloominess, weather forecasters still foresee Wednesday to have partly sunny skies, with a high near 71.

The National Weather Service website's extended outlook for the week includes sunny skies and a more pleasant outlook through the weekend.
