Snowstorm Trash Collection Delays
The snowstorm will further delay the holiday trash collection schedule
There will be no trash and recycling collection in Middletown on Friday, Jan. 4 due to the snowstorm.
The holiday delay combined with the additional storm delay will push back the Thursday route (scheduled this week for Friday) to Saturday Jan. 4th, and the Friday route (scheduled this week for Saturday) will be collected on Monday Jan. 6th.
Next week’s collection will be delayed one day to allow Waste Management’s trucks time to complete all of the routes.

This revised holiday/snow schedule will be: Thursday collected on Saturday, Friday collected on Monday, Monday collected on Tuesday, Tuesday collected on Wednesday, Wednesday collected on Thursday, Thursday collected on Friday, Friday collected on Saturday.

To help with snow removal, please be sure to pull your trash and recycling carts away from the side of the road while crews continue to push back the snow.
Christmas tree collection will take place during the week of January 20.
