Spunky Rascal Knows When to Impress

Rascal, a four-year-old Beagle and Cocker Spaniel mix, is a spunky fellow but not crazy about sharing toys.

The Potter League adopted out five cats and two dogs over the weekend, leaving 96 cats, 19 dogs, and 5 other small animals still in their care. Of the 19 dogs at the Potter League, Rascal, a four-year-old neutered male Beagle and Cocker Spaniel mix stands out as having a fun personality.

When we entered the play space to meet Rascal, we found him happily perched up on a chair. He was energetic and spunky, happy to play ball. When it came time for the camera to roll (for the attached video), he sat perfectly still with Amy Chamard, Special Projects Coordinator at the Potter League, as though we knew it was time to impress.

Rascal has been at the Potter League since August 29th. He is looking for a home with adults and older teens as he isn't so fond of sharing his toys with kids or other dogs. He's also does not like cats, but Rascal does have lots of love to give, plenty of energy, and he loves attention.

Besides Rascal, the Potter League has three pit bull mixes and several other dogs available for adoption.

Our previously featured "Pet Project" friend Jack, the 10-year-old Beagle, is also still available and is in need of a good home where he can spend his golden years. Along with Jack, cats August and Maxie are also still available for adoption.
