Natural History of Bats in RI

Peter August, Professor of Natural Resources Science at the University of Rhode Island, will review the diversity of bats on a global basis and the natural history of RI bats in detail. Special attention will be given to the natural history of our most common bat, the little brown bat, and White Nose Syndrome, the disease that is ravaging their populations in the northeastern United States.
