Join the Middletown Historical Society for an interesting walk through the history of the Middletown Police Department, given by (unofficial) police historian Michael Allen. A graduate of Middletown High School, he began his career as a military police officer and joined the MPD in 1978 where he served until his retirement. He is a descendant from a long line of peace officers, the great-grandson of Chief Arthur A. Albro, who is generally regarded as one oft he founders of the MPD as it exists today.
