MHS Annual PowderPuff Game Sees Seniors to Victory

Don't let the pink fool you. This was authentic flag football with a real competive edge. The Class of 2013 had a 3 year winning streak to uphold.

Don't ask for a score to the games because there always seems to be a lot debate regarding the actual numbers.  But this is what we do know.  Every year during Spirit Week the girls don the football uniforms and the boys take on the roles of coaches and cheerleaders for some good clean inter-class fun.

In this year's Annual PowderPuff Flag Football Tournament the championship game was played by the Class of 2013 and the Class of 2016. The Senior Class had a lot on the line as they entered the competition as the reigning winners for the past 3 consecutive years.  That fact didn't seem to scare off the underclassmen who played their hearts out trying to defeat their older classmates.

As fate would have it, the Senior Class prevailed after two 10 minute halves and a delightfully short half time show by the male cheeleading squad.
