The Middletown High School World Language classes will be hosting an International Festival on Wednesday evening, April 16, 2014 from 6-8 p.m in the high school cafeteria. In the spirit of demonstrating proficiency in the languages offered at the high school and in celebrating cultural diversity in the community, there will be various presentations including, themes based on Latin dance, henna art, international foods, a salsa cook-off, a piñata contest, and “Au Café”. The high school students will conduct children's activities, dancing, singing and multicultural crafts.

The festival is open to the public and all are welcome.  Donations at the door will help fund the World Language activities at Middletown High School including our Excellence Awards.  Donations may also be dropped off at the high school.

The Middletown World Language classes realize the importance of cultural diversity in our community and around the world. We hold this event annually to showcase the accomplishments and learning of the students enrolled in a second or third language. It is a collaborative effort from the language classes, physical education classes, fine arts classes, and English Language Learners.
