National Wildlife Refuge Cinder Worm Workshop

The Rhode Island National Wildlife Refuge (NRW) Complex, in partnership with RI D.E.M. is organizing Cinder Worm Workshops.

Join experienced anglers Dave Pollack and Ray Stachelek for an evening devoted to tying cinder worm emergence patterns.  This workshop will also include an introduction to practical rigging and casting instruction for those in need of additional assistance.

The program is open to any adult or child over the age of 15, regardless of skill level, and PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  All fly tying materials will be provided.  Participants are encouraged to use their personal equipment, but RI Division of Fish & Wildlife’s Aquatic Resource Education program will also provide the necessary fishing and fly tying equipment (other than waders) for beginners and entry level registrants.
