Isner and Kamke Advance to Friday Semi-finals

Here's a look at Friday's lineup and the weekend events to include the induction of Andre Agassi into the Tennis Hall of Fame, as well his exhibition match on Sunday. Tickets are still available.

In quarter-final action at the Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships on Thursday, No. 1 seed John Isner and No. 8 seed Tobias Kamke claimed spots in the semi-finals. Both of the doubles matches went to tie-breaks, with Matthew Ebden and Ryan Harrison advancing over No. 1 seeds Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram, and Ivo Karlovic and Frank Moser defeating Ashley Fisher and Jordan Kerr.

Quarter-finals continue on Friday, when No. 6 seed Olivier Rochus will face Matthew Ebden. The 30-year-old Rochus was 4-5 for the year before the grass court season started but has put together a 5-2 record on grass, including a quarter-final finish at Eastbourne, a second round finish at Wimbledon and now another quarter-final here. He has a record of success at Newport as well - he was a semi-finalist in 2009 and a finalist in 2010. Ebden, who took out No. 4 seed Ryan Sweeting en route to this round, is playing his second ATP World Tour quarter-final, after Brisbane in the first week of the year.

Next up is an all-American battle between qualifier Michael Yani and wild card Denis Kudla. Both are playing in their first ATP World Tour quarter-final and at 18 years and 10 months old, Kudla is the second-youngest man to reach the quarter-finals here since the tournament began in 1977 (Ryan Harrison achieved the feat at 18 years and 2 months last year). Kudla also pulled off the biggest upset of the tournament so far, beating the No. 2 seed, Grigor Dimitrov, in the second round.
