Girl Scouts: We Want Your Cookie Info!

Get the word out about ordering by sharing the info on Patch.

Girl Scouts across our area are currently ramping up for one of the sweetest times of year.

From now until March, you can place orders for your favorite cookies—whether that's a Thin Mint, Peanut Butter Sandwich, or Samoas—by contacting a local Girl Scout.

The Girl Scouts of RI are holding a special Cookie Kick-Off this Sunday, Jan. 8. The girls, their families and friends will gather with the Providence Bruins starting at 1 p.m. to celebrate the start of selling season.

Will your daughter be selling cookies this year? Then take note! If you want to get the word out to the whole community about how they can place an order, be sure to share the info via an announcement on Patch. We'll then feature it for all to see and hopefully help make 2012 your troop's best cookie-selling year to date.

The Girl Scouts of RI report that booth sales will start toward the end of January. Be sure to check their site for locations.

I wish they were still allowed to sell door to door. When I was a Girl Scout I vowed that i would buy cookies from every girl that came to the door. It was always so disappointing when people said they already bought some. But now I have to go find a Girl Scout to buy cookies from or just hope I catch them at the grocery store!
