102nd Annual Medieval Christmas Festival

This service traces it origins back to Roman times when the December celebrations of Saturnalia would provide a welcome respite from the rigors of winter. Takes place on Tuesday,  Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at St. George’s School Chapel.  Read more information here.  


Newport Run & Chug Holiday Party

The annual Newport Run & Chug party is being held this year to raise money for Foster Forward, with a $10 suggested donation.  The event takes place at Speakeasy bar, located at 250 Thames Street on Wednesday, Dec. 18. Between 6:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.   See the event on Patch here

Book Signing

Join Newport Art Museum Curator Nancy Whipple Grinnell for a free book signing in celebration of her new biography of the Museum's co-founder, Carrying the Torch: Maud Howe Elliott and the American Renaissance.  Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 5 p.m. at the Newport Art Museum, located at 76 Bellevue Ave.
