Canine Couture Comes to 'Ruff' Point
Rough Point mansion's third annual "Doggy" Fashion Show on Thursday night will feature Newport canines and their human companions stylishly dressed.
Rough Point mansion's third annual "Doggy" Fashion Show on Thursday night will feature Newport canines and their human companions stylishly dressed by Bellevue Avenue boutiques, including Angela Moore, The Boardroom, J.McLaughlin, Michael Hayes, and Rib & Rhein. Inspired by Doris Duke's love for dogs, proceeds from the event benefit the Newport Restoration Foundation (NRF) and the Potter League for Animals. The fashion show is sponsored by Newport pet boutique Wag Nation, whose canine couture is featured on the runway. Rough Point's grounds and exhibit galleries open at 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 22. The fashion show is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
