Cox Communications has reported outages with their email system that impact customers in the Midwest and East Coast regions. Middletown customers report they have been impacted as part of the widespread issue. On the Middletown Patch Facebook page, Katie Waite said she has issues since Friday night. On Twitter, Kate Burt (@KateKhronicles) called the outage "exasperating" She said a similar situation happened a few years ago and after her account was restored, she found all her emails and folders were lost.
