Dickens also mentions a "fried fish warehouse" in Oliver Twist, which was published in 1838. I started my personal Fish 'n Chips taste off last Friday at Anthony's. I did take-out......had a choice of cod or flounder (chose cod). The fish was batter fried and done to perfection....2 good sized pieces along with coleslaw instead of chips, for a satisfying meal ....and smiling, congenial service. Stay tuned for the next reports. GO FISH!   more ›
