On Sunday, Nov. 11, runners will get the rare opportunity to run across the Newport Pell Bridge right at the break of dawn during the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority’s Citizens Bank Pell Bridge Run, sponsored by Newport Hospital. Thousands of athletes and walking enthusiasts are expected to turn out for the unparalleled scenic panoramas visible from the bridge deck. The four-mile run will begin at 6:30 a.m. in Jamestown, next to the RITBA headquarters.
