The annual PMC challenge will take place from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. today. Police ask motorists to avoid the area if possible.
The Middletown Police Department requests that motorists avoid the route of the Pan-Mass Challenge, (PMC) Kids Bicycle Fundraiser between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. this morning. The event will attract a large groups of bicyclists, including children riders. Come out and cheer on the cyclists! Race Route When the event begins, the cyclists will exit the sticker sales gate and head east towards Sachuest Point on Sachuest Point Road. The cyclists will turn around in the parking lot of the Sachuest Point Wildlife Refuge and head west. At the intersection of Sachuest Point Road and the Third Beach Access road the cyclists will make a right and follow Third Beach Road to the intersection of Third Beach Rd/Indian Ave/Hanging Rock Rd.
