On Friday March 15, 2013 at 6:20 p.m. Kristen Maghuyop, 30, of 36 Green End Avenue was arrested on charges of a Second District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a technical violation hearing on the original charge of possession of marijuana from the Middletown Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Maghuyop was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later released by a Justice of the Peace after posting the required surety bail.

State Troopers arrested Spyridon Passios, 45, of 957 West Main Road, on Sunday on two bench warrant charges for failure to appear to court. One was out of the Sixth District Court on the original charge of disorderly conduct out of the Cumberland Police Department and the other was out of the Second District Court on the original charge of reckless driving out of the Newport Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 195 in the City of East Providence. Passios was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.

The following was reported by the Rhode Island State Police
On Tuesday, Rhode Island State Police charged ACI inmate Andre Dupree, 22, of 117 Lake Erie Street, Apartment B, with being a fugitive from justice out of Massachusetts. According to state records, he was convicted of a felony drug charge after an arrest made by the Newport Police Department in September Dupree was wanted by the Fall River District Court for a violation of probation on original charges of: three counts of assault with a dangerous weapons; three counts of larceny and a drug violation near a school or park. Dupree was released on $5,000 personal recognizance to the custody of his attorney with the condition that he respond directly to Fall River District Court to answer to the charges.

O’Donnell, Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police and Commissioner of the Rhode Island Department of Public Safety, announced today that during the Thanksgiving Day Holiday period, the Rhode Island State Police joined state and local police across the nation in the “Click-It or Ticket” campaign. Projo.com is reporting the arrest of Rep. Dan Gordon, of Portsmouth, who is being held at the Adult Correctional Institutions (ACI) pending an arraignment Monday morning.
State Rep. Daniel P. Gordon of Portsmouth has been arrested as a "fugitive from justice" on an outstanding warrant, according to a report by The Providence Journal Sunday. Gordon is being held at the Adult Correctional Institutions (ACI) pending arraignment on Monday. Gordon, 42, of 35 Allan Ave., Portsmouth, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 16, by members of the Rhode Island State Police, Major Crimes Unit and Intelligence Unit.
