Readers' Choice: Be a Tourist In Town

A summer getaway not in the cards this year? No problem... there are plenty of things to do right here to help you enjoy a summer stay-cation.

With the weather warming and the school year entering the home stretch, it’s time to start making plans for summer vacation. But for many families operating on a tight budget, an extravagant trip out of town for the whole family simply isn’t a reality, leaving them to consider options  closer to home. That doesn’t mean their summer vacation has to go to waste. There are plenty of things to do right here in town and around the region. This week, Patch wanted to help you become a tourist in your own town.
