The Rhode Island Department of Health (HEALTH) advises consumers that they should not eat Calico Bean Salad purchased from the salad bar at Stop & Shop Supermarkets between July 18 and July 26, 2012. Stop & Shop has voluntarily recalled the product, following a recall by Costa Fruit & Produce, because it may potentially be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Consumers who purchased Calico Bean Salad from Stop & Shop during this time period should discard any unused product and bring their purchase receipt to the Stop & Shop store from which the product was purchased for a full refund. Louise White, 81, has won the third largest jackpot in Powerball history.
Louise White, 81, has officially been announced as the winner of the $336.4 million Powerball, Rhode Island Lottery officials announced Tuesday morning. The jackpot is the third largest in Powerball history, thanks in part to the lottery raising the price per ticket from one dollar to two dollars last January, and will has been claimed in the name of the Rainbow Sherbet Trust. The Shop & Shop on Bellevue Avenue issued the winning ticket for the $336.4 million jackpot.
Rhode Island lottery officials have confirmed that the winning Powerball ticket for $336.4 million was sold at the Stop & Shop on Bellevue Avenue. Both lottery officials and Stop & Shop have said no winner has stepped forward. Ticket sales increased from $1 to $2 last month, which resulted in a ballooning jackpot. The winner has one year to the date of the they drawing to claim their millions. The winning numbers are 1-10-37-52-57 and Powerball number 11.
