Crews responded around 3 a.m. Monday.
A dry docked boat is completely destroyed after fire crews battled a blaze at 3580 Main Road, Tiverton, around 3 a.m. Monday. According to Tiverton's Acting Lt. Bob Gagnon, crews responded to a neighbor report of a structure fire on the property behind Clearview Farm, Claddagh Farm and Fox Gate Farms. Upon arrival, they encounterd a 41-foot Hatteras Cabin Cruiser completely engulfed next to two garages. Gagnon said heavy smoke could be seen from Main Road. No one was injured. All Tiverton fire engines responded on scene, along with a water tanker and another from Little Compton. A Portsmouth engine responded to the scene, and crews from Westport, Fall River, Middletown and Swansea fire departments back-filled Tiverton's stations. The …

A total of three people were transported by ambulance following a motor vehicle crash Saturday morning at the intersection of West Main Road and Union Street.
Three people were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital Saturday morning following a rollover crash on West Main Road at Union Street. A silver, Toyota RAV4 landed on its driver's side around 11:08 a.m. at the corner of West Main Road and Redwood Road, just across from Union Street. Gathering on the corner, neighbors watched as residents quickly came to the aid of the victims. Before emergency crews arrived, at least a half dozen people could be seen directing traffic at the busy intersection, as well as standing on top and around the rolled-over van, talking to the two adult victims trapped inside. Multiple neighboring fire departments were also on the scene early Friday afternoon.
Tiverton firefighters are battling a fire right now at a home at 58 Crest Road. Portsmouth, Westport, Swansea, Middletown, Little Compton, Bristol and Warren fire departments are also on the scene. The fire reportedly started around 11 a.m. Tiverton Emergency Management Deputy Director Fred Almeida said the fire started outside the home then "went up the wall to the attic pretty fast." Dark gray smoke is currently billowing from the roof, but no flames are visible from the street. Laurie Haywood, who lives in the house, was home at the time, but was uninjured.
