Where Can I Dispose Appliances and Electronics in Middletown?

On the Middletown Patch Facebook page, Renee Raether Ginn asked "Is there a place in Middletown to dispose of old electronics? I have a waffle iron I don't want to throw in the landfill." We reached out to Middletown Recycling Coordinator Will Cronin for an answer: Will: A waffle iron is a small kitchen appliance, and depending on its makeup I may be able to take it in our scrap metal bin behind the Department of Public Works garage at 19 Berkeley Ave. Electronic waste (e-waste) is computers, laptops and their accessories (mice, keyboards, printers, scanners, etc), copy and fax machines, audio, video, photography and gaming equipment.
