Rep. Daniel Reilly announced that he will run for re-election this November
Rep. Dan P. Reilly (Republican- District 72, Middletown, Newport, Portsmouth) is not the ordinary new college graduate. This spring Reilly not only graduated from Providence College with a BA in general studies, he also announced that he plans to run for a second term. November will mark his third election, after losing his first race in 2008 by under 200 votes. “I’ve had what I’d like to say I pretty aggressive freshman term.” said Reilly. “I’m in the minority party, but that certainly doesn’t mean that I don’t have a voice.” Reilly serves on six committees. This guy needs to go. He has thrown his support behind pre-abortion ultrasounds. I'm sure banning the day after pill will be next. What does a 23-year old know about the agonies of a woman who needs to make that choice, anyway? No thanks. Keep your bible at home or church and keep it out of the statehouse. more ›
