John Martin, Neighbor

John Martin is Associate State Director - Communications, AARP Rhode Island. Prior to joining AARP in 2011, Martin was Director of Marketing & Communications at Save The Bay and Director of Corporate Communications at the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation. He was media critic at the Providence Journal for 12 years and TV critic for the New York Times Syndicate for seven years. Hewas an adjunct professor of Communications at Roger Williams University, 2003-2022. Leadership Rhode Island, NU II, 2017.

John is a Missouri native who arrived in Rhode Island in 1980.
