On the article CONTEST: What's Your Favorite Marshmallow Peeps Recipe?

ReplyOk- here is one that I like since Im not a peeps officianado-- First take a fruit roll up of any size-- unfold it and at one end take you peep-- altered in any way you prefer-- smashed, roasted, dissected in sections-- I personally cut off the head-- then you can smash other assorted easter candy into the peep such as jelly beans or even sweet tarts. Chocolate does work as well. Then I add a few rice crispies (cut from a piece of rice crispies treats works the best) and then roll up-- I place the head on top for a yummy candy sushi roll. Its funny looking but similar to a fried shrimp roll. My son says the peep is taking a peep out of the roll--get it!) You may also garnish with strawberry sauce.
Then another variation of a favorite is pees treats, you can add half marshmellows, half peeps for a tye dyed rice crispie treat. The kids like them all.

On the article Should Schools Ban Cellphones to Stop Cyberbullying?

ReplyI feel that cell phones should be banned. But its a good point - where do you keep them. We are so oriented around cell phones these days- how would we function without them. Its kind of ironic when you think about it. I recently read a new book out about a mom whose daughter was in elementary school and was lamenting the fact that a major incident happened at the school and because unlike the buses there was no recording equipment they had to rely on cell phone video accounts. An interesting time we live in. What did people ever do in the olden days-- you know 1995? Before most everyone had cell phones... lets not even dwell on the 80's and prehistory.

ReplyTarget.. Know there was some concern about this a few years ago I ve heard. But honestly. Target would be a great business to bring in. How about a Market-- maybe not the size of a Whole Foods, or a Wegmans ( the best store ever Middletown!) but something that would not be over the top - something like on Federal Hill
