On the article Finn Says She Is Open to Discussion on Gun Registration Bill

ReplyI also have no objection to background checks....but that's where I draw the line. All the rest of it is just a way for the local govt to pick our pockets. Like I said before time for the State Legislature to fix what they were elected to do. 14 plus % unemployment, the highest in the country. Businesses are leaving because there is no business friendly legislation. 17% of the state on food stamps. The state is not retirement friendly nor veteran friendly. I suggest that Rep Finn consentrate on these issues first. Better yet check out this from Fox News with Doreen Costa (Rep) from RI and eye opener http://video.foxnews.com/v/2244137622001/rhode-island-food-stamp-state/

Let's see.... the UK is a gun free zone.... I suggest that Rep. Finn check the stats to see how that's working for them...it's not, all the criminals have guns and the only ones getting killed by guns are the law abiding citizens that are not allowed to have them. So my suggestion is that Rep Finn get off her High Horse and forgo this folly and get busy fixing the real problems of this state that she was elected to do... how about working on the unemployment situation seeing that we are one of the highest in the country. In short, "Get off the Cross Rep. Finn, somebody elese needs the Wood"

ReplyOK.. let's see if I have this correct.... there are already gun laws in place for registration of fire arms...why would we want more? Oops never mind i get it...we get to pay the town a 100 bucks to tell them what is already registered, and if we don't then they can send us to jail and fine us for even more money. I guess the old saying is true..."If you don't like the rules, make new rules" especially if you can make some money because of it.... Make your "Change" then move "Forward" Ms. Finn, I can't hardly wait to see what else you come up with...try to surprise us the next time with something that makes sense...

On the article Should Dogs Be Allowed On a Driver's Lap?

ReplyReally????... is this what we elected our State Represenatives for? This is right up there with the New Liquor rule requiring all Bars, Restaurants, and Liquor Stores to account for all liquor sales. With one of the highest unemployment in the country we are going to fine drivers because FiFi is sitting on their laps... Get Real folks and get back to working on what you were elected to do and not your own personal agendas.

For those of you who voted for the party in the last election for the members of the General Assembly with the Dems in control I suggest you rethink that process after you check out this that was on Fox News..funny how the local news stations didn't air it http://video.foxnews.com/v/2244137622001/rhode-island-food-stamp-state/
