On the article Obama Calls For Sweeping Gun Laws: What's Your Take?

ReplyI don't see how this will reduce gun violence. If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. Do you think criminals are going to abide by this law? Nonsense. Criminals will still have unlimited access to weapons. Truth be told, I'm less concerned with criminals these days and more concerned with the firepower that police carry. They also have assault rifles and these days they are more apt to shoot first and ask questions later. They recently gunned down a Soldier in Hawaii who was driving drunk. They had his car boxed in but chose to unload their weapons into him, and killed him. Many people in Hawaii calling the cops actions completely unnecessary. Remember this...cops carry weapons to protect themselves. So who's protecting you?

On the article MPD: Woman Allegedly Kicks Firefighter in Stomach, Fraudulent Checks

ReplyWaaaaaah I'm a big strong fireman and a little old drunk lady kicked me in the stomach waaaaah.
Prediction: This firefighter will claim disability when he retires. Having a documented case of being kicked in his stomach is all the proof he needs. Unfortunately, us townfolk get stuck with the bill of paying his disability for the rest of his life while goes and works out at the gym.Whatever happened to public service and men who are men. Long gone are those days.

The fallacy of John Doe's argument is the lady was rescued with an old fashioned canoe (kayak). The Jet-Ski was only in a support role. Probably cost the town around $500 for that canoe. What's next John Doe, Segways for Middletown Police to stop all the criminals in this town? I have to agree with Tom. No more nice to have stuff bought at taxpayers expense. It's time to reel in taxes in this town as the taxes are oppressive. Don't forget, before MFD bought the jet-ski, people would call the Coast Guard. Remember them?
